St. Croix River Trip 8-21-06

We have been talking about renting a pontoon boat to take the kids on and we finally did it! Jenni and Brad were in town and went with us. We had a great time and the kids were so well behaved and even Wyatt remained calm, Grant said we'll have to get a boat just to keep him calm! We saw a couple of hot air ballons also. They came down over the water and were close enough to us that the kids were able to say hello. Probabley the most amazing thing was seeing the pair of bald eagles as we were headed down the Mississippi. I have never seen one let alone two in real life, they also were close enough you could see their white heads and yellow beaks. We did get stopped by the Washington County Sheriff for a safety check and they were not very nice but thats a whole different story! Hope you all are well!
